Pauli: "Well we were so young, 15-16 years old, of course we were thinking that we'll get to foreign countries and we had extremely naive ideas, and we quitted our school and everything... but it all started so well, we worked so much, didn't have any big record companies, and we did a lot to get that first poke to start."
Eero: "As being young, the energy just is different, it's like that, that 'now we're talking about the lives and deaths', that 'now it must work or we'll go working to the post office'."
Lauri: "Teja has had a big significent to our band's career. Teja fell in love with us and we fell in love with Teja already at first sight. We were working at the Oranssi at that time, Teja was being the chairperson at Oranssi then and after one gig that we played there, he came to us as being grand to tell that 'what if boys, we would make a cd now' and then it started, like 'first we'll captivate Helsinki, then Finland, and then the world', that's how he said, and we were like that 'yeah it is a pretty good-sounding plan, so let's effectuate it'."
Teja: "I remember brightly when I saw The Rasmus as a band for the first time. The band played, got off the stage and went to the back room so I went on heels and decided at the door that I'll become the manager. Well I truly didn't even know what the whole word even means before I checked from the dictionary."
Lauri: "Teja walked straight there and said 'so from now, start playing'. He must have been pretty hard in his announcements but because of being ex-punker he may have got people to listen."
Teja: "Rasmus just was so hell of a good band. The basic things were in the right way. It was a band formed by friends, you could see the connection between them working very well. And they played well, and they had good songs. That's a pretty good source for a band."
Eero: "I think that when you're young, a teenager, you have some kind of a belief to what you're doing and to your own immortality, and it was a great feeling, that someone likes our music and our going." CITAZIONE Intervista di YleX a Lasipalatsi, Helsinki - 17.9.2005

Pauli: "Beh, eravamo così giovani, avevamo 15-16 anni, naturalmente pensavamo di andare all'estero ed avevamo delle idee innocenti, e lasciammo la scuola e tutto il resto... ma iniziò tutto così bene, lavoravamo molto, non avevamo una grande casa discografica, e facemmo molto per ottenere l'occasione per iniziare."
Eero: "Essendo giovani, l'energia era proprio diversa, e la pensavamo così, 'Ora è questione di vita o di morte', 'Ora deve funzionare o andremo a lavorare all'ufficio postale'."
Lauri: "Teja ha avuto una grande importanza nella carriera del nostro gruppo. Teja si innamorò di noi e noi ci innamorammo di Teja a prima vista. Lavoravamo all'Oranssi in quel periodo, Teja era il proprietario del locale allora, e dopo un concerto che suonammo là, venne da noi e poiché avevamo suonato molto bene ci disse: 'Cosa ne dite ragazzi, se facessimo un CD ora ?' e poi aggiunse, 'Conquisteremo prima Helsinki, poi la Finlandia, e poi il mondo.' Questo è ciò che disse, e noi eravamo tipo, 'Sì, mi sembra un piano piuttosto buono, così mettiamolo in pratica.'"
Teja: "Ricordo chiaramente quando vidi i The Rasmus come gruppo la prima volta. Il gruppo suonò, scese dal palco e andò nei camerini. Così io li ho seguiti e davanti alla loro porta decisi che sarei diventato il loro manager. Beh, veramente non sapevo nemmeno cosa significasse questa parola prima che la controllassi sul dizionario."
Lauri: "Teja entrò direttamente là e disse, 'Così ora, iniziate a suonare.' Deve essere stato piuttosto duro nella sua dichiarazione ma essendo un ex-punker riusciva a farsi ascoltare dalle persone."
Teja: "I Rasmus erano un gruppo dannatamente buono. Le cose basilari erano al posto giusto. Era un gruppo formato da amici, si riusciva a vedere che rapporti tra di loro funzionavano molto bene. E suonavano bene, ed avevano delle belle canzoni. Questa è una base piuttosto buona per un gruppo."
Eero: "Credo che quando sei giovane, un adolescente, credi in qualche modo in quello che stai facendo e nella tua immortalità, era una grande sensazione, che a qualcuno piacesse la nostra musica ed il nostro modo di essere."
