CITAZIONE MTV: The Rasmus Withdrew to a Rental Cabin for Interesting Reason: "Everybody sacrifices equally"
The crew of the super-popular rock band recently spent a week in the mountains of Spain, according to an interview with MTV's Morning Finland program.
Lauri Ylönen, 40, and drummer Aki Hakala, 39, from The Rasmus, attended MTV's morning TV show "Houmenta Suomi" on Thursday. In the broadcast, Ylösen and Hakala were asked how the 25-year-old had successfully resolved the band's internal conflicts, such as artistic differences.
Lauri Ylönen answered the question by saying that the band recently spent a week in a small village in the Spanish mountains. The band had rented an apartment and set up a studio there.
"We played music there, and probably about 70 percent of the time we talked and focused on who we are, where we come from, what we want to do now and in ten years," Ylönen said, adding: "Finding a common tone and purpose is really important."
In the same context, Ylönen also raised the equal devotion of the band members to the band.
"It is important in band activities that everyone is ready to sacrifice as much, for example, from the personal side. However, this is our second family and it is not always an easy equation that we are much away from home."
"In the best years (we've been) 250 days on a rund and one hundred days left tired at home, it has to be adjusted a little at times."
