Lauri feels offended: "Man, you make it seem like the worst place in the world !!"
Eero: "Well, you know, the nature is nice."
Eero: "La Finlandia è un paese molto grande, con un piccolo numero di persone, e siamo una razza molto timida. Perciò la gente beve molto per liberarsi dalla timidezza. In inverno tutti diventano depressi e bevono persino di più."
Lauri si sente offeso: "Uomo, tu lo fai sembrare come il peggior posto al mondo !!"
Eero: "Beh, sai, la natura è bella." 
CITAZIONE I: "The song Small Town was inspired by Helsinki ?"
Pauli: "Yes. Lauri once said that he's fed up with those people who always lament to live in Helsinki because it's a dusty village. Truly it doesn't matter where you live 'cause every town has its own advantages and disadvantages. The best thing you can do to enjoy the good things of the place."
Eero: "Some people think that Helsinki is such a shit place just 'cause it's not London or New York. Actually it's really a little place but I love it, it's better than some other town."
I: "La canzone Small Town è stata ispirata da Helsinki ?"
Pauli: "Sì. Lauri una volta ha detto che è stanco di quelle persone che si lamentano sempre di vivere a Helsinki perché è un villaggio polveroso. Veramente non importa dove vivi perché ogni città ha i suoi vantaggi ed i suoi svantaggi. La miglior cosa che puoi fare e goderti gli aspetti positivi del luogo."
Eero: "Alcune persone pensano che Helsinki sia un luogo schifoso solo perché non è Londra o New York. Effettivamente è un luogo piccolo ma lo amo, è migliore di altre città."
CITAZIONE Lauri: "I love Helsinki because it's so peaceful. I'm more of a winter person and it's winter for a long time here with very cold, dark days. It's very beautiful. You can walk the empty streets and go to the harbour and walk many miles on the ice. It's quite an experience. Very romantic. It's also an inspiring atmosphere to create music in."
Lauri: "Amo Helsinki perché è così tranquilla. Sono una persona a cui piace più l'inverno ed è inverno per lungo tempo qui con dei giorni molto freddi e scuri. E' molto bello. Puoi camminare per le strade vuote ed andare al porto e camminare per molte miglia sul ghiaccio. E' proprio un'esperienza. Molto romantica. E' anche un'atmosfera che dà ispirazione per creare della musica."
CITAZIONE I: "The other sight of your country is a great number of lakes - do you like fishing ?"
Lauri: "Well actually, I went fishing when I was to Lapland, when I had my week of holiday. I went fishing but without hook !! I love boating, I love the sea, lakes, and I've written many songs about the sea. Maybe in the future, after this band, when I'm old, I'm living alone in a lighthouse and I'll have a boat !!"
I: "L'altro aspetto del vostro paese è il grande numero di laghi - vi piace pescare ?"
Lauri: "Beh, effettivamente sono andato a pescare quando sono stato in Lapponia, quando ho avuto la mia settimana di vacanza. Sono andato a pescare ma senza amo !! Amo navigare con le barche, amo il mare, i laghi, ed ho scritto molte canzoni sul mare. Forse in futuro, dopo questo gruppo, quando sarò vecchio, vivrò da solo in un faro e avrò una barca !!"
Il Video di Lauri alle prese con una lenza in Finlandia la scorsa estate.  Ancora un' intervista in cui ne parlava.  CITAZIONE Lauri: "I went fishing with the bass player. We went, he's got some fishing nets. And we took his boat, and with the rowing, in the morning, like 7 o'clock in the morning. And it was really fun, because that's like so different from being a Rockstar, you know. You're fishing in the ice cold water, kind of funny. It brings still balance to my life to do things that are totally opposite to each other, you know."
Lauri: "Sono andato a pescare con il bassista (Eero); siamo andati, ha preso delle reti da pesca. Ed abbiamo preso la sua barca, e con i remi, la mattina, tipo alle 7 in punto la mattina. Ed è stato davvero divertente, perché è così diverso dall'essere una Rockstar, sai. Stai pescando sul ghiaccio nell'acqua gelida, piuttosto divertente. Porta ancora dell'equilibrio nella mia vita fare cose che sono completamente l'opposto tra di loro, sai." |
